Welcome to 4th Grade!
Stay up to date with current events happening in our class!
Another week has flown by! We have some major events happening in the next few weeks. Please make sure you are aware of our end of the year activities and the behavior requirements so your child can end this year on a happy note. I will continue to send dojo messages if your child gets a strike or cannot participate in an activity but it is YOUR responsibility to check dojo :) Math: This week we're thinking back to decimals and adding in units of measurement. We will look at converting metric units. (Ask your child about the song to go along to help them remember the order of units!) Literacy: Students will continue reading about ecosystems this week but with a focus on technical, fiction and even poetry! By the end of the week students will be able to describe the relationship between living and nonliving things in an ecosystem! Integrated Studies: This week students are constructing their lighthouses and visitors guides. Visitor guides/brochures and lighthouse with working circuits need to be completed by Friday. Both will be for an informal grade at the end of the week.
