Good Afternoon! I want to send a HUGE, heartfelt thank you to the parents, students and families that have donated their time and gifts this past week. I feel so loved and appreciated! Thank YOU for being wonderful parents and helping teachers succeed!
Math: We are taking everything we know about addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and putting it into multi-step word problems. Students were given a study guide. The study guide is due Tuesday. Students will take a formal test on Topic 6 on Wednesday. Literacy: This week we will wrap up our vocabulary strategies and have a formal assessment on Thursday during literacy time. Writing: We will spend the week reviewing our spelling. We will also work on homophone activities to help students understand that homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings. Integrated Studies: Students are continuing to work on their end of the unit project. This project helps student understand our state government, constitution, and their rights and responsibilities as citizens. The project will be due for an informal grade on Thursday.
