Good Morning! I want to give a HUGE thank you to our parent volunteers for helping out at Biztown! The kids had a blast and your help was greatly appreciated. If you went on the trip, Biztown would like to know how they performed. (Feel free to email Mrs. Gahrmann, to tell her how you feel - [email protected] )
Math: We are continuing our unit on comparative multiplication. Students will read word problems to compare products using multiplication and also double, triple, etc. products (like in recipes!) Over the week students will take a quiz for an informal grade. Literacy: We will continue to practice describing changes in characters, setting, and events in a story. On Friday students that made below an 80% on their formal exam last week will be given a chance to retake the exam in their literacy flex group. Writing: Last call for all narrative nonfiction writing! Grades will be posted sometime on Wednesday! Any late papers will get 10 points deducted for each day it it late! Integrated Studies: We will continue to be geologists next week! Students will learn about the 3 different kinds of rocks and how rocks are made, and how to classify rocks. HOMEWORK: -Relocation interview (sent home in cougar folder today) -Read and track in agenda -Math & Literacy flex group homework ANNOUNCEMENTS: -10/30 - Fall Party @2 -10/31- No School -11/5 & 11/8 - Raku Pottery -11/9 - On a Roll Assembly
